This may seem like a very small concern – and it may be that only we care about it to this degree – but Microsoft have recently updated Outlook so that instead of having to reply to an email in text, you can now just reply with an emoji. For those of us whose inboxes are clogged with a huge number of “ok, thanks!” type responses, this is going to be a huge step forward. Although, we imagine that it will be us adopting this new feature and will inevitably get “did you get my email?” and “what does the smiley face mean?” or “how did you do that emoji thing in email?” for some time to come 🙁

(In case you’re wondering, simply look for the face icon next to “reply” on the email pane … you’re very welcome!)
